Fifteen entrepreneurs are participating in a five-day intensive Ranyaka Enterprise Development Academy that kicked off this morning in Stellenbosch. The academy is facilitated by entrepreneurship specialists, Labit – a for-profit Business Incubator that is focused on establishing and growing community based entrepreneurs that are both hardworking and community-minded.

Thank you to the Distell Group for making this week possible through their sponsorship and for investing in the lives and businesses of this dynamic group of entrepreneurs.

The academy is not a stand-alone event, but forms part of a bigger business development process to grow the local economy in Stellenbosch. The objective is to assist entrepreneurs to gain better access to market and to support inclusion in local supply chains.

Thank you also to the Stellenbosch Municipality for their support in bringing this vision to life, as well as to Nedbank for their ongoing investment in enterprise development in Stellenbosch as part of the broader Proud of my Town initiative for which Ranyaka is the implementing agent.
