A great turn-out with broad representation at the open dialogue session hosted by the Stellenbosch Civil Advocacy Network (SCAN) at the LaunchLab this morning.

SCAN’s mission is to encourage collaboration amongst civil society and to provide a space for intersectoral engagement – and this is what’s happening right here, right now!

A wide spectrum of socio-economic development organisations are represented here for the dialogue between the non-profit sector and three of its key stakeholders: the Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch Municipality and various departments within the Western Cape Provincial Government.

Ranyaka’s Marli Goussard is the Chairperson of SCAN. The facilitation of collaboration is a key element of Ranyaka’s collaborative community development model. We are incredibly proud of the great work that Marli and her fellow SCAN committee members are doing – a formidable team indeed!
