Last year, we invited Stellenbosch-based entrepreneurs to come and show us their products and services, tell us their stories and share their dreams. It’s been an exciting journey so far!
Five of the entrepreneurs who attended our product showcase have been selected to participate in the Stellenbosch University Business School‘s Small Business Academy Development Programme (SBA), sponsored amongs others by Distell Group, who is also funding the entrepreneurial development process of Ranyaka.
Here they are, from left to right, on registration day earlier this week: Quint Meyer (Upbeat Cabling Solutions, Cloetesville), Yulston Langeveldt (Yara Civils and Bosh Aluminium, Jamestown), Amy Jill Levendal (Ranyaka Social Media & Operations), Bulelwa Tito (Yeyethudesign, Kayamandi), Ronald Siegelaar (RSG Services, Cloetesville) and Peter Cupido (Peter’s Barber Shop, Idas Valley).
Over the course of the next nine months, this group will attend regular sessions at the University’s Business School in Bellville where their entrepreneurial skills will be honed through mentorship, training, workshops, engaged learning and the development of detailed business plans.
We look forward to sharing their graduation photos later this year!
