Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Nedbank-sponsored Jamestown business breakfast held on Friday. As a joint initiative of Ranyaka, Nedbank and the Jamestown Community Development Trust, the breakfast was the first of a series of events to be hosted for Jamestown-based businesses.
Thank you to brand-new Jamestown event venue and business hub, Platform 43 for hosting a wonderful morning and guest speaker, Bertus Basson, for sharing the story of his entrepreneurial journey.
“As an energetic entrepreneur, Bertus has expanded his food empire to include his own range of condiments, and more restuarants: Bertus Basson at Spice Route, Spek & Bone, De Vrije Burger and Eike in Stellenbosch.” www.bertusbasson.com
Ranyaka’s Collaborative Community Development model emphasises the role of a strong local economy as a key driver in the well-being of any community. The synergy that is unlocked when businesses join forces around a common goal boosts local economic development whilst promoting the sustainability of CSI and charitable interventions in any area.
