DESCRIPTION OF CONTRUCTION PROJECT

Refurbishment of the Old Victoria Street Clinic (5&7 Victoria Street, Stellenbosch).

For many years, the old clinic at 7 Victoria Street in the town of Stellenbosch nurtured the physical health of local communities. In 2021, the historical clinic will be transformed into an entrepreneurial development hub; a unique space that will open the doors to economic inclusivity in Stellenbosch – nurturing the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in our midst to the benefit of all our local communities.

LOCATION

The old clinic (future hub) occupies a prime spot in the very heart of Stellenbosch in Victoria street – a mere stone’s throw from Eikestad Mall and within easy walking distance from the University campus, the town’s main taxi rank, businesses, restaurants and tourist attractions.

QUALIFYING CRITERIA

  • Micro Enterprises or Small Enterprises with a B-BBEE status level 1 or 2 (majority ownership) will be considered.

  • Business address within the Municipal boundary of the greater Stellenbosch.

  • Minimum five years specific trade experience.

  • Ability to provide references to prove track record.

  • Registration with relevant trade industry regulators (where applicable)

  • Registered businesses or sole proprietors in good standing with SARS.

Note: Experience working on Heritage buildings will be an advantage.

QUOTATION DETAILS

  • Site visits to be arranged with Project Manager, Will Hammers on 084 802 2222 prior to quotation.

  • Kindly quote for labour and all materials separately.

  • Labour must be broken down per section of work within a trade i.e. cost to install x number of basins, x number of ceiling lights. (see breakdown per trade scope document)

  • Submit all required documentations as per trade scope document to the Project Manager, Will Hammers.

  • Kindly provide contact details of a minimum of two references with your submission.
